Check in at the Main Town Pier and blast out across Lake Wakatipu, racing into the Shotover and Kawarau rivers for 45km of tight turns and 360 degree spins before stepping off at Frankton.
From there your wine guide takes over and the pace slows right down. Taste your way through four premium vineyards across three contrasting sub regions, Gibbston, Cromwell and Bannockburn, with a platter style lunch to soak it all up and running commentary on the wine, the landscapes and the early history of the region.
