Journey from the rugged Cape Range to the turquoise waters of Ningaloo Reef on this full-day small-group tour from Exmouth. Your day begins with a scenic drive up to Charles Knife Gorge for dramatic canyon views and local history. Next, make your way to Vlamingh Head Lighthouse for morning tea and a cuppa with panoramic reef views. From July to early October, humpback whales may even be passing by on their annual migration.
Once inside the national park, stop at one of Ningaloo’s iconic beaches for a swim. Pull on a mask and fins to meet some of the reef’s 500 fish species and 300 types of coral. After lunch, hop aboard for a leisurely boat trip between the red rock walls of Yardie Creek Gorge. Keep your camera handy for black-flanked rock wallabies and ospreys nesting high on the cliffs.
